Your résumé never reaches us
It is read by code running in your browser. There is no upload. We hold no copy, no extract and no record that you checked one. You can verify this in ten seconds: open your browser’s network tab and drop a file.
What we store if you sign in
Your email address, and the occupations and states you asked to be told about. If you have paid us, a Stripe customer reference. That is the entire record. We do not ask for your name and there is no password to leak, because we never set one.
What we collect anonymously
When a résumé is checked, the browser may send back which checks were triggered, the occupation code, the two-letter state and rounded years of experience. No text, no job title, no employer, no filename, and no identifier of any kind. The row carries a date rather than a timestamp, specifically so that two checks cannot be linked by when they happened. We could not connect this to a person if we were asked to.
Aggregates we publish
Statistics drawn from those anonymous rows — which checks fire most often for a given occupation — are published only once a group is large enough that no individual can be inferred from it. Below that threshold nothing is shown at all.
Third parties
Stripe processes payments and holds card details; we never see them. Brevo delivers email. Photographs are served by Pexels. No advertising networks, no behavioural trackers, and no data sold or shared with recruiters, employers or anybody else.
Deleting your account
Write to [email protected] from the address you signed up with and the record is removed the same week. There is nothing else of yours to delete.
